Steve Weddle is an American novelist best known for his 2013 southern noir novel Country Hardball, which was hailed by the New York Times as “downright dazzling.” He holds an MFA in creative writing from Louisiana State University, is the co-founder of the crime fiction collective Do Some Damage, the co-creator of the noir magazine Needle, and a regular instructor at LitReactor. Steve lives with his family in Virginia. His next novel, The Last Outlaw Camp, will be published by Lake Union Publishing in 2024.
