Diandra Mae grew up mostly in Texas where she spent a lot of her childhood drawing, exploring the woods, and reading every book she could get her hands on. She strongly believes stories are one of the most important gifts children receive.
Using a mix of traditional and digital media, Diandra seeks to create a reflection of childhood moments for readers who are just beginning to explore their wider world.
When she’s not in the studio Diandra can still be found exploring in the woods or reading a book - most often with a cat in her lap.
