ERYK PRUITT is a novelist, screenwriter and filmmaker. His novel What We Reckon was nominated for the Anthony Award in 2018. His eight-part podcast The Long Dance investigated an unsolved North Carolina murder. His short films have been screened at film festivals across the country. When he is not writing, he can be found tending his bar in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
