Katherine Jamieson is a graduate of the University of Iowa Nonfiction Writing Program, where she received a full Iowa Arts Fellowship. She's been published in The New York Times, Newsday, Washingtonian, Bust, Orion, The Common, and Ms. magazine. Her travel writing has been anthologized by Lonely Planet, and multiple times in The Best Travel Writing and The Best Women's Travel Writing, and twice won the Solas Award. In her other life, she tours the world performing for children and families with her husband, Latin GRAMMY Award-winning musician and author, Mister G.
