Lilith Wu is a Brooklyn-based illustrator and storyteller originally from the sunny Southwest. After several years working as a software engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area, she left tech to pursue an MFA in Illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she found community and creative clarity.
Lilith’s work explores connection, identity, and the emotional layers of everyday moments, seeking to help people feel seen and to better understand others with different perspectives and experiences. She enjoys exploring how framing elements like panelling and pacing shape how the story reads on a subconscious level and serve to further immerse readers. She has a soft spot for wordplay and puns, and an inexplicable fondness for dark and supernatural elements—despite being easily scared herself.
She is currently working on her debut as a graphic novel illustrator.
